The People Verses Valentine

One of the legends says that St. Valentine wrote to young women while in prison and left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, and signed it "From Your Valentine" before he was executed.

So here is this guy, a priest, a Bishop of Rome, in jail writing love letters to young women. Doesn’t it make you wonder why he was in jail? Was he a stalker? A paedophile? Both? Based on the record of the Church…you can draw your own conclusion.

The Valentine economy moves a lot of money around this week. I'll save you some money on cards. Check back tomorrow.

Well, geez, that's a depressing legend. And maybe a bit of a sicko one as well.

I like KAST, just annoyed with the never ending commerical from Gannaways for VD, I'm just annoyed period with with VD. A card will do, why do people buy kids and animals presents for VD? It has become big business. I'm for celebrating VD with thoughts of love and peace, save your money.

It's all a big business. But it's fun. Take it or leave it.

I got flowers and a card from Slave Hubby that was Snoopy, but directed to a "Cool boy," because he was in such a rush, he didn't READ the thing!

Beth, there are many stories about him, but I still have questions.

Anonymous, we should get a break from them until Mother's Day. They certainly have weasley ads.

Looks like you are going to have to be a "Cool Boy" tonight. See how he likes it. Beat him with a skate board and take his car.
