Dullard

Maybe I am a dullard who is incapable of feeling most forms of pain. I know I ripped one of the muscles of my right bicep and it protrudes unnaturally. I didn’t feel a thing.

My newest feat in enduring pain was going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and I slept through the appointment. And no I wasn’t on nitrous oxide or any pain killers. I just slept like a baby. It makes me wonder what other pain I should be sensing that I’m not.

Would that I could be such a dullard when at the dentist. It’s a white-knuckle experience for me every time.

I'll trade you. I'm going to the doctor this morning and probably going to get another cortisone shot in my elbow. Them suckers burn like fire.

I too, have slept through trips to the dentist. Made me wonder how crazy busy my life had become, that the one time I would stop moving enough to nap was in the dentist chair.

Beth you need to relax and realize that they will numb you if they are going to do anything that hurts.

Darev, I probably wouldn't feel a thing.

Anon, it's the chairs, they are real comfortable these days.

Other Anon, Dullard is a word geared more toward a dim whit, but I use it as one who is clueless in mind or body.
