Dylan Takes Up Our Cause & Happy 2nd Syd

OK, I saw this at Syd's (Mississippi Syd) Adrenaline's Shadow blog and I couldn't resist making one for the issues we face here. It may take a moment to load, but it's well worth it.

By the way, Happy 2nd Blogaversary today, Syd, Darlin! You have my continuing love and devotion.

Hey, that is very cool.
I am constantly amazed at the technological wizardry available these days.
(And it was great seeing the young Dylan again.)

Isn't that a kick?

Thank you, Guy. It's completely mutual, my dear.

For you out of towners, our District Attorney got his county stipend taken away, because someone realized that we were paying a State employee with county money, so the DA and one of the County Commissioners did a back door play to to put his pay on the ballot, but it will not only change the home rule charter, it will attempt to change the state constitution. It is all based on greed and arrogance.

Dang, that one that Mrs. Marquis and spouse whittled up is pretty lame. I mean, at least make it funny.....Come on! Its as bad as their attempt at their "Fly" humor.

Recall won't be an issue for the four commissioners since they did nothing unlawful. Sam won't be recalled either since his term is up next spring, and he doesn't have a chance to get re-elected.

Josh on the other hand is an officer of the court and he has been untruthful in public stating he had nothing to do with the formation of the cabal, yet the FOIA documents shows that he and Sam were the ones to do so. His honesty is now in question, so a recall may be in order on that front.

Also, please, if you want to entertain us, get a little more creative. Those two were lame.

Pretty cool, but where did Marquis say he "had nothing to do with the formation" of the Committee?

So far, we haven't seen that document! Our DA doesn't "lie"! Heavens to our Betsy! He has said he is "not the generating force"! He is neither obiwan kanobee, nor darth vader. His spin mentors didn't have sexual relations nor were they crooks.

Not being familiar with your local politics beyond what I've seen on here and in the 'rag', I can't help but ask myself: "Is this where all the law school 'bottom of their class' folks end up?". Perhaps it's something in the water that affects ethical behavior and honesty. Whatever it is, KEEP THEM EMPLOYED!! We don't want them coming here looking for work:)

I have to say I really don't understand this whole stipend business. If you're looking for a job and the pay isn't good enough, why don't you go work somewhere else? If there's a problem with the pay structure take it up with the state as that's who you work for, not the local jurisdiction.

I love it. Mike and Rich are 3000 miles away and they totally get it. Why would the County pay a State employee? He said he's a department head, but he isn't accountable like other department heads.

Moovin on...
