I am pretty sure the general public knows the electoral college is a mess, and yet we get no choice.
I want to know what they were smoking when they came up with that idea. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
This is why I don't get into heated political discussions with people...their opinion doesn't count anyway.
My prediction at this time is that voters are actually going to vote with their brains turned on as opposed to last time when they thought they were judging American Idol.
Where ever you got that map guy; please post it side by side with the post election map on the days after.

Darev, don't it make you wonder when people wag the Frderalist Papers in your face how many other things they were wrong about?
Not, oddly that only goes for the President, no other elected official.
Gearhead, by then I will no longer care. Remember, I have a short attention span.
Fair amount of punditry about how the only votes that matter are the ones in Ohio. Who decided Ohio gets to pick the Pres? Or FLA for that matter?
Pundits were suggesting that if you don't live in Ohio, you may as well vote for someone you really believe in -- since it doesn't count in the end anyway.
I have a hard time thinking my vote for Willie Nelson has any sort of political bearing whatsoever.
