Wow, when you told me yesterday you were empty, I figured it was just you saying it for my sake, like you have a hundred times before. I think my response was, "yeah, yeah, yeah....heard it before".

Wow. And away we go to visit the Holy Dude.

Actually, you were not completely empty. Empty will be when you do not even post...

It's "Let's give Guy ideas day!" Because there is painfully little in this world we can all depend upon, and this blog is one of them! So, some topics might include:

"The frustration of writer's block"
"How to break writer's block"
"Things I hate about other drivers"
"Things I hate about other blogs"
"Top 10 blog mistakes"
"Worst things about getting old"
"Best things about getting old"
"Things I've learned about bloggers just by reading their blogs"

Hey that's unfair! I just started reading your blog a few months ago. You can't let me down at this point!! Take your time, take a break and I am sure the 1,378 posts will only expand into something bigger very soon!

Whatever you do, don't start recycling your greatest hits.

Write about trains, though there are few steam locomotives remaining.

Excellent post!
Even God rests once a week.

One thing I've learned about blogging is not to force it. Let it come when it comes. Of course right now I have more content than time...

I take notes and save them on notepad for future posts.

Tango, just a pause to get some fire in the belly.

Auntie, Wolf, Wolf!!

Robb, I'd have a post about that, too.

Darev, get arrested and you'll have lots to write about.

Mo3, Look for an upcoming post that will answer your questions.

Kama, fear not my personal contract with my blog runs at least until May.

Mark, were you the victim of one of my older posts that you don't want me to repeat? Just curious.

Rich, I'll have to see what I've written about trains in the past so I don't repeat.

g, the Pope may get you for making a comparison like that, but I hear you. How's that Pious doing? You still driving it?

Nope, I wasn't targeted by an older post (not that I'd necessarily know, being especially insensitive). I was thinking of aging rockers who re-release their stuff periodically; and Hollywood, which apparently ran out of new ideas shortly before the release of the second version of "The Italian Job".

Mark, back in my earlier days there was a good chance I insulted your religion, politics, town (especially Seaside, Warrenton and Brownsmead)and your elected officials. I've mellowed a lot since then and I now restrain myself after seeing myself and other local pundits making total asses out of ourselves.

Though there are pieces here that I am really proud to have written I don't plan to remake them unless I have a total change of opinion, which happens. I figure there is a search function on this blog, and if there is a topic that someone wants to see if I've written about it before, they can search the archive.

Still driving. At least when I get pulled over for doing 100 I will have an excuse.
