Easter Saturday

OK all you Jesus believers out there, riddle me this... The story goes that Jesus was placed into his tomb in the evening after hanging on the cross all day Friday. He was there for three days and three nights then he arose, right? As you all know I am just a dopey blogger, but it seems to me that he would have been resurrected on Monday morning. Am I wrong?

Hey - after reading this and your yesterdays post I had an epiphany........It goes like this.....I guess I will have someone I know to talk to when I am in HELL.

Happy Holidays!

Interesting question. I "Googled" to check out the answer. Lots of confusion as to days, dates, etc.
Bottom line (my bottom line) if you believe the words of Jesus, just go with the three days and never mind what we now refer to them as or what we "do" on those days.
I'm a dopey blogger, too. More so than you because I never questioned this.
(And I can't believe I'm even checking out blogs with a million other things I have to do today.)
"Happy Whatever" to ya...

I'm just telling you the way I grew up with, because I know all the talking in the world isn't going to make an unbeliever into a believer. He was in the tomb on parts of three different days. So that counts as three days. Those of us who believe have no problem with that. Those who don't believe, do. As one who was for a long time an unbeliever, I know both sides.

I can't wait to use that excuse at work. "No, really, I worked five days last week. I worked for part of all five days, therefore, I worked full time."

What a dopey blogger - It's because he was in a different time zone!

Yeah I see what you're saying, but Easter Monday just doesn't sound right!

Here is another one for everyone to ponder.....

Someone went and added up all the people that God and Satan killed in the Bible.

The final tally was God = 2 million+...Satan = 10

Auntie, you aren't going to Hell. You have the BVM covering you back.

Beth, blogs are more important than anything else, you should know that by now.

Donna, I can understand how a believer becomes a non-believer, but oddly I don't understand it the other way around. Though I'm happy you have something to believe in. I used to feel much more secure when I was able to believe in something.

Anon, it's quantum religious day counting.

Moose, don't forget about the switch to Day Light Savings, that will buy another hour.

TH, thats where the God Fearing thing comes in. That God is one crazy diety and he'll off you if you mess with him. After tomorrows post I may not be here on Monday.
